Do You Embrace Your Gap?

Lets talk about managing that gap for a minute. Do you struggle with it? Or do you embrace your gap?

Do You Embrace Your Gap?

Do you ever feel like there’s a space between where you are now and where you want to be, ought to be, are capable of being? Do you struggle with it? or do you embrace your gap?

That gap between your reality and your possibility. It is quite inevitable, isn’t it?

Now, imagine that space as a gulf or a chasm and you’ll become paralyzed, stuck in the current situation. And refuse to see it at all and you’ll merely be self-satisfied, and just as stuck.

The magic of moving forward is seeing the space holistically, as something that persistent, consistent effort can get you through.

The most likely paths are the ones where you can see the steps.

Your problem might not be that you’re not trying hard enough. It might be that you’re seeing the opportunity in the wrong way.

I know that I have had my share of realizing the gaps between my reality and the possibilities, as I am sure most of you have. My point is, moving on and putting in your hard efforts will not go unnoticed, despite how demotivated or discouraged you may feel.

Do not let those gaps paralyze you from moving forward. In fact, learn to embrace your weaknesses as much as you embrace your strengths.

It is always easier to pick-on and focus on the negative, so when the going gets tough, I think Dory from the Disney movie “Finding Nemo” eloquently sings it “just keep swimming, just keep swimming.”

Just some food for thought for this fine Wednesday.

love the outfit! and love what you had to say along with it. I actually always try to think about ways to improve myself to have new opportunities come at me. But I admit that I do get stuck because I focus on my weaknesses.

well I think any normal human being can admit to this. we are all guilty of focusing on our weaknesses because it’s so much easier to focus on the negative. sad but such a reality. love that denim jacket!! I’m still in search for that perfect oversized boyfriend jacket and you seem to have quite a collection!
