By The Docks

I thought for my non-Torontonian readers, an outfit post conveying the Toronto City scape would be a great idea. I really love this City, and the docks probably has one of the most beautiful view of Toronto’s skyline. And what could be more perfect than shooting during our Canadian winter?! Because despite the negative temperature, snow, slush and all of Mother Nature’s glory we really do duke it out. That is why a great down jacket is an absolute winter-surviving essential.

Two common questions that some of my readers sent recently via email were;
1. What do you wear when you are not dressed up?
2. What do you wear to keep yourself warm during Canadian winter?

So I thought what better way to convey and address both questions through an outfit post. So I decided to drop by the docks to take some quick shots over the weekend by the docks. The result, what are your thoughts?

From head to toe is my usual weekend casual look – minus the Loubs! Toque and sunnies are an essential part of me during winter. I am usually not the bag carrying kind, I will shove everything I can into pockets before a bag. Anything to be hands-free! This is probably another reason why I have an abundance number of jackets and coats, and use the cold weather as an excuse.

For the sake of picture I did throw on some heels – otherwise it would have been the usual runners.

My toque pretty much screams what I want to say in the freezing cold.. AHHHHHH

My go-to jacket to stay warm is a good down jacket. I love shopping at Sporting Life since they always have a great selection to choose from. Though mine was gifted, Canada Goose definitely know a thing or two about Canadian Winter weather!

Stay warm!
