White Space

One of my all time favourite photographers is Annie Leibovitz and the Art & Science Museum in Singapore had her exhibition running since April 18th, until the end of this week (October 19th) so if you happen to be around in the city, be sure to check it out.

This Art and Science Museum complex, much like every other buildings around Singapore, is truly quite a beauty and a work of art itself, both inside and out. All the white space makes for great natural lighting to see the exhibitions at a better light.

I soon realized that my white on white outfit complimented well with all the white space inside the Museum. Isn’t it amazing how white is defined as a negative space? And we try to fill it with colour where ever possible, and yet for the few, the stark blankness of white looks so simple, crisp and sharp.

If you are ever visiting Singapore, one of the most lovely and scenic area is by the Marina Bay Sands. No matter how many times I have been here, I don’t think I could ever get sick of this place. And no matter where you go, there is always a different perspective just waiting to be shot at a slightly different angle. Every time I visit I make sure to snap a few photos and stand in new places to get an interesting shot.

And when you are around the area, be sure to drop by this gorgeous Louis Vuitton Island Maison, it is connected to the Marina Bay Sands Mall, and has its own mini walkthrough museum and bookstore. Probably one of the most modern sculpted architectures for a boutique shop.

Maybe one of these days I will do a full post featuring some of the remarkable architectural buildings around this area. Thanks for dropping by!
